What's over here?

What's over here?

NOTHING!!!

NOTHING!!! (the player's not supposed to go here)

Geez, this map looks rough in Hammer...

Geez, this map looks rough in Hammer... That looks better.

Ah, that looks much better!

Since I've abondoned this project, and won't ever be using the ideas I had for this mod, I might as well give some context to the concepts I had in mind for it.

The main selling-point of the mod was the 'multiple pathes' aspect of it. Through most maps of the mod, the player would reach a fork in the road, and would have to decide on which way to go.

The main antagonist of the mod was meant to be this creature the thrived in the darkness, referring to the name. After getting trapped on a lower sector of the facility, the player would eventually meet this creature.

The creature, after disabling all power for the sector, attempts to stop the player in their tracks, and prevent them from turning the power (and lights) back on.

But, something occured along the way when creating the mod, and eventually the backrooms had gotten involved in some way? I decided to scrap the mod due to having a lack of direction for it's story.

If anybody is willing to actually make this mod, I would be more than happy to send over the BSP files and Hammer maps, and lend them to someone more willing and more talented.
